As part of a before/after school program, the 28 KidsCare Club in Northbrook, IL and their facilitator, Melissa Patricelli had a very busy year. The Club members collected toiletry items, placed them in hand decorated boxes and donated them to the local food pantry.  They also made paper hearts for the local animal shelter for use in collecting donations and also collected candy that was sent to soldiers overseas.  They also made friendship bracelets that were mailed to girls of all ages, all over the world.  For a big food packing event, kids and parents came together to pack meals for Feed My Starving Children.  One parent exclaimed, "Thanks so much for the opportunity to join your group.  So many students and parents were there helping and they got so much out of it.  We want to do it every month!"
