President's Volunteer Service Award
Kids Care Clubs provide a very important service. In fact, the President of the United States and his Council for Service and Civic Participation wants to honor Kids Care Club members with an award for their outstanding contribution to their communities. It's called the President's Volunteer Service Award and it is given to Americans, no matter what their age, who volunteer their time and energy and service to others. And that's not all! Pay it Forward Minigrants These grants are designed to fund one-time-only service-oriented projects identified by youth as activities they would like to perform to benefit their school, neighborhood, or greater community. Projects must contain a "pay it forward" focus. Grant applications are reviewed and considered by a Selection Committee three times a year.
