Souper Bowl of Caring
Your Kids Care Club can turn Super Bowl Sunday into a Souper Bowl of Caring by collecting Soup and Crackers for local food pantries and soup kitchens.
In professional American football, the Super Bowl is the championship game of the National Football League (NFL). The game and its ancillary festivities constitute Super Bowl Sunday. It is the most-watched U.S. television broadcast of the year, and Super Bowl Sunday is the second-largest U.S. food consumption day, following Thanksgiving.*
With that thought in mind, that Super Bowl Sunday is the second-largest day of food consumption in America, why not help those who do not have enough to eat and depend on food pantries and soup kitchens to feed their families. Across America, food pantries and soup kitchens are experiencing record numbers of families needing their services as well as record numbers of supply shortages. Your club can help with a simple collection of soup and crackers!
