In April, young volunteers from the Walkerton Elementary School's Wild Cats Kids Care Club in Walkerton, Indiana joined together to pick up trash around the school. They then joined together with students from the middle school and high school in a community service event. The students painted a large graffiti-laden wall on a local building and then some smaller groups went about town sprucing up planters and playground equipment in preparation for the town's 150th Sesquicentennial celebration this summer. It was a very fulfilling event. They had close to 50 kids total between the three schools and their town is looking good!!
